Playing Abigail

Selene Johnston will be 21 in August and was raised in New York. She has been with in many shows for seven years. You may have also spotted her in Les Misérables, Ragtime, or Fiddler on the Roof. Johnston has played some outstanding roles in a number of big films. She starred in the Tom Hanks comedy Turner & Hooch and in two feature films with Kevin Costner, The War and the western Wyatt Earp. Mare won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her role opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh in Georgia. Her myriad TV roles include ER, Grey’s Anatomy, and 24 with Kiefer Sutherland.

Playing Mr. Beaumont

Whit Baldwin is originally from Mt. Olive, NC and is thrilled to be a part of Project Footlight. Most recently in New York he was seen as Peter Hale in the NYMF 2008 production of That Other Woman’s Child. Regional credits include A Little Night Music-Quintet; Oklahoma- Curly; Carousel; Seven Brides for Seven Brothers-Ephraim; Anything Goes-Billy Crocker; 1776-Edward Rutledge; How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying-Finch; Candide-Maximilian; Crazy for You-Trio/Bobby u/s (National Tour); Take Flight-Orville Wright. Playing Dina

Fiona Choi is an Australian actress who has been living and working in New York since 2003.  Favorite credits include the original Australian companies of RENT, Mamma Mia!, Metamorphoses and productions of Assassins, The Tempest, Little Shop of Horrors and the one-woman chamber musical The Silken Phoenix.  In New York Fiona has created the roles of Babbett in APATHY – The Gen X Musical, and Tiki King in The Street.  Television credits include guest starring on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Blue Heelers, a recurring role on Aussie soap Neighbours, and narrating A&E Television Network’s Biography: Giorgio Armani.Most recently Fiona has been relishing her role as doting mama to Anton and Baby Max.

Playing the Station Worker

Brent Williams is enjoying his second season as Richard Hannay in the Off-Broadway production of The 39 Steps. Williams is also known for his roles as Sir Robin in Spamalot and Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera. Williams played Lonny in the original Broadway cast of Rock of Ages. He also recently bared it all as part of the touring cast of The Full Monty, in which he played Dave Horsefall. Williams studied acting at Carnegie Mellon before moving to New York in 2006 to pursue his career. He is an accomplished musician who plays several instruments, including the trumpet and cello. He is an avid reader and enjoys collecting rare books. Williams wishes to thank his fiance, Gloria, for loving and supporting him and allowing him to chase his dream. The couple plans to wed in January. He credits the success of The 39 Steps to director Mark Holloway, whose creative genius rivals that of Alfred Hitchcock himself.

Playing Duane

Simon Kendall was most recently seen as Irwin in History Boys at the Studio Theatre. Other regional credits include: two seasons as Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol; Vincent in Brixton, Proof, and Twelfth Night; A Ghost’s Bargain and What the Butler Saw; The Importance of Being Earnest; The Moustrap; and Charley’s Aunt. New York: 78th Street Theatre Lab, Manhattan Theatre Source, HERE Arts Center, Project Shaw, and New Dramatists. Simon appeared in the 2006 PBS documentary The War that Made America. Playing Rose

Abbie Cornish grew up on her parents’ 170 acre farm in the Hunter Valley town of Lochinvar with her 3 brothers and younger sister. Abbie started modeling at age 13. Her first acting job was at age 15 on the Australian Broadcasting Commission series Children’s Hospital (1997) playing a quadriplegic.

Playing the Little Girl

Jessica Curtain is extremely proud to be joining the cast and crew of Abigail. Jessica lives in Brooklyn with his family and attends the Waterston School for the Performing Arts. She is in the fourth grade, and her favorite subjects are English and Social Studies. Thomas first appeared on Broadway at the age of six as Chip in Beauty and the Beast. She is best-known for playing Cosette in Les Misérables, during the show’s final season on Broadway. Jessica also enjoys playing soccer and has recently begun learning to play the violin.

Playing Gail

Caroline Goodall is a graduate of Bristol University where she gained a BA Hons. in Drama and English, and studied alongside other notable screenwriters such as Jeremy Brock (Mrs. Brown). A former member of The Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre of Great Britain, Caroline appeared extensively on stage before being chosen by Steven Spielbergto star in Hook (1991) in 1991. Since then, she has worked on film and TV projects in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia, striking a balance between Independent and Studio films, as well as maintaining a TV presence in Britain and Australia. She was nominated for Best Actress by the Australian Film Institute in 1990 for Cassidy (1989) and again in 1995 for Hotel Sorrento (1995). There followed a Logie nomination for Best Actress for A Difficult Woman (1998) which also won best TV mini series at the New York Festival in 1998.
